The BMW dealer that seemed to feel that an eBay auction did not create a binding contract, previously mentioned, has decided to be magnanimous, and finally sell the car as they agreed to. Of course, they are patting themselves on the back about it, and it required quite a few lawyer-hours, but still.
Merely making files available is not piracy.
SCOTUS apparently feels that though a free gift of assembled case law might benefit the public, that benefit doesn’t extend to the judiciary.
