Mobile Bloggery

The Wordpress for iPhone app was released this morning, so I may play with that a bit. Although I haven’t been blogging much at all on relevant stuff. This would just be for fun.

Although I won’t be purchasing a new iPhone, I am currently experiencing the joy that is iPhone 2.0 software and the new app store  Some of the apps are of dubious utility, but the location aware stuff is really cool.  Software that figures where you are, roughly, and provides data of some kind about the area.  It strikes me that this would be the easiest kind of Web 2.0 app to monetize: what company would not pay to have itself show up first on location based displays?

More experimenting will ensue.

Internet Service Provider Shenanigans

In addition to the story that I previously blogged about, here is more on the doings of ISPs (via InstaPundit and the Consumerist).

Something I didn’t notice from the first article.  AT&T had a clause in their contract that they could block any conduct that could viewed “unfavorably by others.”  Then
